biography

  • Dr. Nipesh Pradhananga is the Coordinator of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Training Institute’s host site at FIU. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) and an OSHA Outreach Trainer. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering and MS in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and MS in Construction Management from University of Nevada Las Vegas. He is the Director of Moss & Associates Built Environment Informatics Lab at FIU. He works on research and training programs that focus on leveraging emerging technologies to enable safe construction and well-being of the occupants, and post-disaster study of infrastructure and human resilience, funded by National Science Foundation and Department of Labor.
