  • Dr. Kevin O'Shea's research is focused on the removal of harmful contaminants from water. Current projects include ultrasonic degradation of organic pollutants, removal of toxic metal species via humic acid coated nanoparticles, the use of advanced oxidation processes for the destruction of cyanotoxins, and applications of host-guest chemistry for the remediation of perfluorinated surfactants.
