biography

Dr. Briceno's research interests reach across the fields of climate and human-induced impacts on the water quality and nutrient cycling in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, Biscayne Bay, Florida Bay, Southwest Florida Shelf, and the Whitewater Bay/Ten Thousand Islands area of Everglades National Park. He is also investigating water quality changes induced by sea level rise and tides in South Florida and especially in Miami Beach.
