Dr. Vanessa Gordon is the Director of Clinical Education & Clinical Assistant Professor of Graduate Nursing at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
She earned her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing from Florida International University in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2011, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Miami where she specialized in Family Medicine.
Her clinical experiences ranges from primary to acute care in both children and adults. As an active member of Sigma Theta Tau and the American College of Nurse Practitioners, Dr. Gordon has focused on clinical education and impact of preceptorship and clinical experiences on nursing student outcomes and success as a future health professional.
