Dr. Yuxi Qiu is a clinical assistant professor of research methodology of the Department of Counseling, Recreation and School Psychology at the Florida International University. Dr. Qiu received his PhD in Research and Evaluation Methodology from the University of Florida in 2018. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Qiu worked as a postdoctoral associate at the UF Lastinger Center for Learning, and was offered a fellowship of psychometric modeling with the Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) Alternate Assessment Consortium through the Achievement and Assessment Institute at the University of Kansas.

Educational and psychological measurement, psychometrics (Bayesian psychometrics, computational psychometrics), test development and validation, latent variable modeling (SEM), and their applications in education and evaluation research.
