biography

  • Dr. Yuxi Qiu is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Research Methodology at the Department of Counseling, Recreation, and School Psychology (CRSP). Dr. Qiu received his Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation Methodology from the University of Florida (UF). Before his appointment, Dr. Qiu worked as a Postdoctoral Associate on state and federally funded research projects at the UF Lastinger Center for Learning. During the doctoral training, Dr. Qiu was offered a fellowship in psychometric modeling with the Dynamic Learning Maps® (DLM®) Alternate Assessment Consortium through the Achievement and Assessment Institute at the University of Kansas. Recently, his research was funded through the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Fellowship Program on the Study of Deeper Learning.
