Lisa Stolzenberg is a professor and chair of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida International University’s Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University. Her research focuses primarily on disparity within the criminal justice system. Her research has appeared in elite criminology and sociology journals, including Criminology, American Sociological Review, and Social Forces. She received funding from various organizations to support her research. She held previous research positions at Westat Inc., the Justice Research and Statistics Association, the Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, and the Florida Department of Corrections.
