I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Florida International University (FIU), USA. Prior to joining FIU, I served as a Research Associate at the CSIRâAdvanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (AMPRI), a National Laboratory in India, where I led research projects focused on electrochemical additive manufacturing. I also served as a Young Scientist Trainee at the UGCâDAE Consortium for Scientific Research (CSR), Indore, India. I earned my Ph.D. in Physics from the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, India, an Institute of National Importance. I have published more than 45 peer-reviewed journal articles, in addition to contributing multiple book chapters and conference papers. My research and academic achievements have been recognized through numerous awards and honors. I actively serve the scientific community as a peer reviewer, having completed more than 100 manuscript reviews for over 40 international journals.
research interests
My research interests encompass materials science and engineering, nanomaterials, surface and interface science, optoelectronic materials and devices, photophysics, electrochemical 3D printing, sensor technologies, energy harvesting, and AI/ML-driven materials discovery. My research focuses on the fabrication and characterization of electrochemical 3D-printed micro- and nanostructures, plasmonic materials, and functional materials for advanced sensing, solar photovoltaics, and energy storage applications. I also leverage AI/ML techniques to optimize electrode architectures, refine manufacturing process parameters, and accelerate materials discovery and device development.
