Jamie Rogers serves as Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives at Florida International University (FIU), where she leads efforts to strengthen library services, expand access to resources, and enhance research support. In this role, she advances innovation and student success by guiding FIU Librariesâ digital transformation, including large-scale system migrations, research data management services, and the integration of emerging technologies into teaching and research. She also plays a central role in library leadership, guiding organizational strategy, establishing data-informed assessment frameworks, and overseeing cross-departmental initiatives.
She advances this work further through active collaboration in regional, national, and international digital initiatives with cultural heritage organizations, developing sustainable models for the creation, preservation, and use of digitized content. She has led numerous grant-funded and community projects, with a scholarly focus on equitable engagement and amplifying diverse voices in the digital knowledge landscape. She currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Sunshine State Digital Network and serves as administrative lead for outreach activities of the Digital Library of the Caribbean.
