Dr. Fraser, a 45-year-plus resident of So. Florida and triple FIU graduate supports the Public Policy and Administration Chair, faculty, and students as the Assistant Chair of the Department. Her years of leading, coaching, and mentoring students align perfectly with FIU's Next Horizon 2025 mission to prepare and nurture global 21st-century leaders. Her involvement as Global Learning and COIL distinguished faculty, collaboration with CIBER, the Frost Museum at FIU, and The Maurice Ferré Institute for Civic Leadership advance the institution's strategic vision to be a top 50 public university.
As an Assistant Teaching Professor at FIU, Dr. Fraser connects with students online or in the classroom, mentoring Pathways and 4+1 PA students, encouraging and supporting their professional public sector goals. In addition, Dr. Fraser has been an active ASPA member for 12 years (currently the incoming President) and is the faculty adviser to Pi Alpha Alpha- the global Public Affairs Honor Society.
