One salient effort and success of Professor Fraser is her mentoring of students from diverse academic backgrounds. She leads the Department’s advising and mentoring initiatives for undergraduate students in the accelerated pathway programs, which are open to undergrad students of any major and enable them to take and apply MPA courses towards their undergrad degrees. In addition to saving time and money to earn an MPA degree, the pathway programs attract many students from distinct disciplines. Drawing from her professional experiences and personal achievements, Professor Fraser coaches, guides, and teaches students about creativity, diversity, and commitment to serving underserved communities. Dr. Fraser takes great pride in turning our students into engaged public managers and reflective practitioners. Her enthusiasm is infectious. As a transformational mentor, Professor Fraser strives to influence others and create inclusive, diverse, goal-oriented teams. This form of influence moves the teams and organizations to accomplish more than what is expected of them.
