  • Luke Thominet, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Writing and Rhetoric at Florida International University, where he also serves as Associate Director of the Writing Program and Associate Director of the English Graduate Program. He is Vice Chair of ACM SIGDOC, an international scholarly association focused on the design of communication. At FIU, he teaches courses in qualitative research methods, document and visual design, rhetorical theory, and grant writing. His scholarship has appeared in Technical Communication Quarterly, Communication Design Quarterly, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Pedagogy, and Patient Education and Counseling.
