Yanqiu Guo obtained his PhD in mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012, and his thesis advisor was Mohammad A. Rammaha. From 2012 to 2015, he was a postdoctoral fellow working with Edriss S. Titi, at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. During the 2015-2016 school year, He was a lecturer at Texas A&M University. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Florida International University.
