Francisco J. Fajardo is responsible for designing and providing library instruction programs within and outside of the medical school curriculum. He is also responsible for coordinating and providing medical library services for clinical faculty, residents, and medical students in affiliated partner institutions supporting the HWCOM’s growing clinical enterprise. For this, Francisco works closely with various clinical departments, hospitals, clinics, and administrators responsible for curriculum development. In addition, he is responsible for all research and outreach services provided by the HWCOM Medical Library to its patrons.
research interests
My research interests include health information literacy, scholarly communication, and LGBTQIA health-related topics; including, but not limited to: HIV/AIDS, PrEP, cultural competency, and health equity.
