  • Hospital libraries have often formed affiliations with other libraries. Miami Children's Hospital affiliated Florida International University (FIU) following the opening of the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) in 2009. The relationship between the Miami Children's Hospital Medical Library and Florida International University's HWCOM Library is examined. Attention is given to resource sharing, collaboration, affiliation agreements, and future possibilities.
