My research focuses on the aquatic environment. I have two main areas of focus: ecotoxicology and animal welfare. In ecotoxicology, I study water quality and use fish and invertebrates as bioindicators to assess the impacts of exposure to environmental contaminants. In animal welfare studies, I am particularly interested in researching stress assessment in fish farms and recreational fisheries.
