abstract

  • A procedure for isolating the real roots of nonlinear systems of equations is presented. The technique requires only function values and can be applied readily to complicated systems of transcendental functions. A program implementing the technique has been written, and the effectiveness and efficiency of the program are discussed. © 1994.
