First-generation college students with disabilities (FGCS-Ds) are increasingly becoming part of the campus mosaic, bringing unique and diverse characteristics that challenge traditional service delivery models. The COVID-19 pandemic created an opportunity to re-envision service delivery in higher education that emphasized accessibility. However, colleges continue to offer services in ways that barely acknowledge the pandemic’s challenges and gains and their impact on FGCS-Ds. This article proposes a wraparound service delivery model for reorganizing campus resources around FGCS-Ds’ unique needs. The model incorporates gains and lessons learned and moves beyond generic plans to provide individualized, integrated support while enhancing FGCS-Ds’ persistence to graduation.
