The Professor’s Teaching Perspective Inventory (PTPI) comprises 50 items in 6 short sections. Each item gives you feedback on some specific aspect of your teaching practice. Taken all together, it gives you feedback on your overall teaching perspective.
Also, each item and the total scores can serve as prompts for your self-reflection as well as your reflection with a colleague or professional educational developer.
The PTPI intends to help you. It does not judge. Effective teaching can come in every form imaginable.
