abstract

  • This paper proposes a consensus-based secondary controller for voltage regulation in an AC islanded microgrid. Graph theory and the Laplacian matrix are utilized to establish a stable communication network among distributed generators. The study highlights the vulnerability of the secondary consensus controller to packet loss and interference in the communication link. Analysis reveals that a degraded communication link can lead to an unstable secondary consensus controller, posing risks to equipment and human safety. The findings emphasize the severe impact of packet loss and interference, enabling proactive measures to mitigate these issues and ensure microgrid system stability and reliability.
