Two-dimensional semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) are attractive materials for optoelectronics. In this paper, a strong coupling regime in Si nanoparticle covered by single layer WS2 system at the magnetic optical Mie resonance is observed. This regime is achieved owing to the symmetry of the magnetic dipole Mie mode, polarized along the TMDC surface, and low dissipative losses of the Si nanoparticle. A Rabi splitting energy exceeding 110 meV is obtained.
