In this chapter, we discuss these coherent scattering phenomena in photonics. We first establish a unified description of such exotic scattering effects in electromagnetics and show that the origin of all these effects can be traced back to singularities of the scattering matrix. Then we discuss these effects paying particular attention to their physical essence and coherent nature.
