  • A novel hand-held probe-based optical imager with self co-registration facilities is developed towards breast cancer diagnosis. Initial experimental studies on slab tissue phantoms have demonstrated the feasibility of co-registered measurements towards future tomography studies. © 2007 Optical Society of America.
