abstract

  • This study examined the relationship between hotel managerial employees' job satisfaction, their individual locus of control (LOC), and their perceptions of the organizational structure in which they work. Additionally, this study explored the relationship between LOC, organizational structure, and certain demographic variables. Finally, this study found there was a positive relationship between LOC and satisfaction, and it developed practical recommendations regarding what types of candidates hotels should hire, and how employees should be managed after they have been hired.
