  • An L-band circularly polarized antenna is designed using Genetic Algorithms. The design has an impedance bandwidth of 12.5% at 1.6GHz with a remarkably constant 4.2dBi gain. Further, it is very thin (<λ/40) and is less than λ/3×λ/3 in aperture. © 2007 IEEE.
