  • Recent developments in the time domain numerical methods were discussed. Specifically, significant advancements in the finite difference time domain (FDTD) methods, hybrid finite element/finite difference time domain methods, as well as time domain integral equation methods were made. This paper particularly presents the low dispersion error FDTD methods and their applications, Hybrid finite element/finite difference time domain method, high order time stepping algorithm in the time domain methods, and time domain integral equation method.
