abstract

  • In this paper we consider the problem of multidisciplinary analysis of steady, incompressible magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow with conjugate heat transfer in 2-D. A computer program was developed based on the least-squares finite element method to simulate MHD flows with conjugate heat transfer.N umerical simulations will be shown that demonstrate the effect of applied magnetic fields on an incompressible, electrically conducting fluid.The effect on the conjugate heat transfer between the fluid and a solid wall will also be shown. © ECCOMAS.
