A HIGH PRECISION operational amplifier must satisfy many criteria. Bias and offset currents must be low, dc gain must be very high, offset voltage must be vanishingly small and trimmable, voltage and current drift and noise should be minimal and long-term stability should be sufficient to maintain accuracy over extended periods of operation. No IC on the market satisfies all of these criteria.
