abstract

  • This is a multiple-case study to explore relationships among the antecedent factors and entry mode choices of multinational lodging firms as they plan expansion into existing and/or new international markets. The data was collected utilizing interviews and secondary resources regarding five multinational lodging firms. The findings from this research included fifteen propositions that explain the above relationships. These propositions were used to create a framework to illustrate the antecedent factors which may support the entry mode choices of the multinational lodging firms. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
