  • This paper presents an overview of the prevalence of alcohol, heavy alcohol, cigarette, cocaine, and marijuana use in the Hispanic population living in the mainland United States and their attitudes and perceptions regarding the availability in alcohol and other drugs in their neighborhood. In addition, this paper will describe the major consequences of drug use and make recommendations for future research.
