abstract

  • This study permits label free real-time detection of the desired analyte, Interleukin-10 (IL-10), using localized silica nanowires as dendrimers, through optical recognition. QD-655 label was conjugated to antibody for IL-10 to evaluate the sensitivity of the sensor for detection of low concentrations of the target analyte. The tests show that the nanowire based sensor is capable of detecting the target analyte at a concentration under 100 μg/ml, which is better than 500 μg/ml used in protein microarrays (PMA). copyright The Electrochemical Society.
