  • Dr. Yiyan Zheng is Research Assistant Professor in the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University. He is a member of Society for Neuroscience. Dr. Yiyan Zheng received his M.D. degree in clinic medicine from Fudan University at Shanghai, China. He was a Professionally trained Neurosurgeon at Department of Neurosurgery, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. He then moved to United States and complete postdoctoral training at Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center, University of Louisville and University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He received best postdoctoral fellow research award of University of Texas Health Science Center in 2010 and 2012. Dr. Yiyan Zheng’s research focuses on the animal models of different neurological diseases and their treatments using Human induced pluripotent stem cells transplanting or other approaches and their behavioral recoveries.
