Professor Sohan has received numerous athletic department faculty favorite awards, adjunct teacher of the year award (University of Louisville), and Thank-a-Prof commendations. He received grants to improve pedagogy and curriculum (University of Louisville).
research interests
Professor Sohan's research interests include corporate internal communications, business-to-business (B2B) communications, customer service, corporate social media image, public relations, editing, professional and technical writing pedagogy, writing-across-the-curriculum, and First-Year writing. He is chair of the Professional and Technical Writing Committee, mentor of Dual Enrollment instructors, mentor of adjuncts and teaching assistants, and member of the Assessment Committee.
