Christine has several recent and forthcoming publications that focus on expanding conceptions of writing to better account for the rhetorical strengths of our multilingual students, including "Online Teaching, Linguistic Diversity, and a Standard of Care: Developing a Shared Curriculum at a Hispanic-Serving Institution" (co-authored with Jacqueline Amorim; August 2021) and "Using the Motivational Framework for Culturally Responsive Teaching to Guide Assignment Design and Implementation" (forthcoming in Currents in Teaching and Learning; December 2021).
research interests
Christine's research interests include writing pedagogy, online teaching, multimodal writing, zine writing, and writing in multilingual contexts. She also works with the Writing Across Curriculum Program to support the teaching of writing across disciplines.
