Dr. Rodrigo Martinez is a Clinical Assistant Professor & Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Department of the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Dr. Martinez received his Clinical Doctorate in Athletic Training from the University of Idaho. He obtained both his BA and MS in Athletics Training from Florida International University.
Over his clinical and research career, he has focused on Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries and Illnesses, Orthopedic Assessment Techniques, and Management of Medical Emergencies.
He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer for the State of Idaho and Florida; and a Certified Athletic Trainer.
