  • Dr. Hector Huerta is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

    As a clinician, Dr. Huerta provides OT services in the inpatient rehabilitation at Baptist Hospital. His expertise in occupational therapy has resulted in numerous presentations describing the theoretical basis of constraint-induced movement therapy as well as current developments in treatment protocols using innovative approaches to care.

    Dr. Huerta obtained both his Occupational Therapy degrees including Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Florida International University. In 2010, he completed his Doctor of Occupational Therpay from Chatham University.
