biography

  • Dr. C. Victoria Framil is a Miami native and has been an Adult Nurse Practitioner for 9 years. She began at FIU in 2008 as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner for Student Health Services and is now a Clinical Assistant professor at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

    She obtained her BSN and MSN from the University of Florida in 2006 and 2008, respectively. In December of 2013, she became a member of the first graduating Doctor in Nursing Practice class at the Florida International University Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

    From January 2016 through December 2019 she transitioned into the role of clinic manager at the John H. Peavy Health Center in Miami Northwestern Senior High School as part of FIU’s newly funded $1.3Million Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) project titled Inter-professional Collaborative Grant. During her time on this grant she provided primary care services to patients living in Liberty City, while also enhancing graduate nursing inter-professional education.

    Dr. Framil has received numerous awards including the Florida Nurses Association Community Action Award and 2021 South Region Nurse of the Year Award.
