I am an Associate Professor of quantitative psychology in the Psychology department at Florida International University. Broadly speaking, my research focuses on evaluating and applying advanced statistical methods to psychological data. My research focuses on evaluating and applying advanced statistical methods to behavioral data. Behavioral data displays certain qualities (e.g., categorical variables, non-normally distributed variables, frequent clustering of individuals within families, schools, or neighborhoods, missing values) that require specialized statistical methods and approaches.
