Dr.. Charles Buscemi is a Clinical Associate Professor and Interim Director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
Dr. Buscemi has an extensive career in family health, specializing in wound care, prenatal are, infant care, women's health, and aging science.
Dr. Buscemi has presented at multiple national and international conferences and presentation making impactful changes in nurse research. His research has been published in numerous journals including the Journal for Nurse Practitioners, Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing, Journal of Transcultural Nursing, and the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science from the University of Miami.
