Liberal Studies Program Organization
The Department of Liberal Studies empowers students to choose their own coursework, founded on their interests and career goals. We are the third largest department in the College of Arts, Sciences & Education in terms of student size with a total of over 1500 enrolled students as of November 2017. Our student body is diverse and talented. Most recently, in fall 2017, seven of our students were invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious Academic Honor Society in the United States.
