  • Sustainability in the food grain processing industry is concerned with the entire food production and supply chain, from agricultural production and processing to packing, distribution and final consumption. This chapter outlines various strategies in the food grain processing chain. Use of novel techniques in grain processing and supply chain system is outlined to ensure sustainable processing and handling approach. Various processing techniques and value addition to grain processing by-products are also discussed.
