This paper presents a system for the real-time analysis of rotating machine concepts from experimental data. The developed system is part of a research project aimed at improving the understanding of energy conversion concepts and the practical study of electric machines. As a result, an energy conversion laboratory could become an in depth analytical and practical experience in addition to performing the experiments and observing associated results. This paper provides a description of the proposed real-time system and gives an example of its utilization in a university energy conversion laboratory.
