A methodology for the design and analysis of implantable tissue stimulator coil from electromagnetic field solutions is presented. The implantable tissue stimulator is a part of a telemetry system which is a medical device used to establish noninvasive communication links between an implanted device and an external instrument. Such a communication link is used to obtain diagnostic data from the implant.
