abstract

  • Implantable telemetry systems are biomedical devices which consist of an implanted tissue stimulator and an external instrument. The use of the finite-element method in obtaining a numerical model of telemetry systems is described. This numerical model is used as a powerful design, evaluation, and analysis tool for implantable telemetry systems. It is considered contribute to the reduction of telemetry system development time and cost, as well as to the improvement of system performance through optimization studies.
