abstract

  • The finite-element method is used to model thick-film striplines and computate their characteristic parameters. The method is shown to be efficient and reliable in modeling different stripline constructions. Comparisons between computed and measured line parameters are shown to be in excellent agreement. The method can be extended to account for more general media and three-dimensional effects.
