abstract

  • One of the tasks assigned to the Continuing Education, CE, Subcommittee of the IEEE Power Engineering Education Committee is to assess the continuing education needs of practicing electric power engineers. In an effort to evaluate the present situation, the CE Subcommittee has created a Questionnaire on Continuing Education for Power Engineers which was mailed to some 5,000 members of the Power Engineering Society residing in North America. The purpose of the present report is to summarize the numerical data extracted from the over 1,400 responses received. © 1989 IEEE
