  • Stridor is a relatively common respiratory symptom in neonates, infants and children and is due to airway obstruction. Stridor may be acute or chronic and is due to a variety of clinical conditions. Children with stridor may present with mild to severe respiratory distress requiring expectant management, to emergent airway stabilization.
