  • Resonant cavity for hyperthermic system is investigated. A subspace iteration method in conjunction with the finite element method for complex eigenvalue problem is used to obtain resonant frequencies. Calculated resonant frequencies and calculation times are compared with the ones obtained by FDTD method. Reduction of calculation time and memory requirement are also discussed.
