abstract

  • Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is a promising energy conversion technology because of its high efficiency, low emission and fuel adaptability. As there are many degradation mechanisms that affect the operating life of SOFC, and the internal state is difficult to measure, analyzing the specific relationship between the critical states which is easy to observe and system degradation is an important prerequisite for timely and effective evaluation of system health. In this paper, based on the established SOFC degradation model, then it is analyzed from two aspects: system mechanism and data characteristics, stack average temperature, stack temperature gradient and fuel utilization of three critical states affecting system degradation are determined, their effects on system degradation are analyzed comprehensively, and the competitive relationship between system efficiency and system life is analyzed based on the data. The average temperature, temperature gradient and fuel utilization of three key states affecting system degradation are determined, their effects on system degradation are analyzed comprehensively, and the relationship between system efficiency and system life is analyzed based on the data, which provides a basis for further optimizing the operation of the system with high performance and long life.
