abstract
The absorption, photoluminescence, and thermoluminescence properties of YAlO3-Tm3+ (YAP)-Tm (1 wt %) and YAP-Tm (4 wt %) crystals are investigated. Laser properties of the crystals at excitation are analyzed by laser diode. The models of point defects and their role in energy transfer processes are studied.
