abstract
Technology is ruling the modern world. Electronic world wide web has spread its tentacles far and wide and there is hardly anybody who has been left untouched by it. The modern youth is so driven by it that the day is not far when problem of drug abuse will be replaced by electronic abuse. These devices are the boon and the bane of society. Outdoor activity has been replaced with obsession to be accessible to all and sundry with frequent updating of statuses and fidgety fingers looking for keypads to work on. The study was undertaken to study the trend and influence of these modern gadgets in the life of young adults of Amritsar city.
